Listing a business on the map
Want to add your company, shop, café, restaurant, salon, workshop or other organisation to the omaplive map?
To list a business you need a business account, and an application for publication.
Once the application is in, a moderator checks it. We look at the basic details so the map stays useful, current and truthful for the people reading it.
Once approved, the company gets its own page on the platform, where you can publish what matters about the business, including:
- the company name;
- what it does;
- the address and the point on the map;
- opening hours;
- a description of the services;
- contact details;
- prices or other useful notes;
- photographs;
- links;
- reviews from users;
- events and special offers.
Being on the map makes a company easier to find for the people already looking for services, shops, cafés, specialists and organisations in a particular city or district.
Plans and what a business gets
omaplive offers several ways for a company to be present and to stand out on the city map.
A business can pick the format that fits what it is after: from simply publishing its details to the extras that make it more visible.
The pricing page has the current terms, the available features and what a business account can do.
Reporting content or a review
If you believe something published on the platform breaks the omaplive rules, is untrue, or is abusive, spam or otherwise unwanted, you can report it.
Every review, map pin and listing has a “Report” button, and that is the quickest route: the complaint reaches the queue with a link to the material itself. An email works too.
Reports are looked at one at a time. Where necessary the information may be checked further, corrected or removed in line with the site's rules.
We aim to keep the balance between leaving user content open and taking responsibility for the quality of what is published.
