Terms of use

The platform is run by the company whose details are in the footer of every page and on the contacts page: name, company number, address, email and the register it is entered in. These terms are the agreement between that company and you.

We make a map and a directory of a city: somewhere to be seen for a business, a way to find what you need for a visitor. We are not a business's agent, not an intermediary, and not a party to any deal between you and a business.

You deal with each other directly. Price, quality, timing, refusal and every consequence are between you and the other side; money for the service or goods never passes through us.

Opening hours, prices, addresses and contacts are entered by the business itself. We do not check them line by line, map coordinates are approximate, and the site is not guaranteed to be available without interruption.

An account is needed to write reviews and to publish. The email address has to be confirmed. The account holder is responsible for the password and may not pass it to anybody else.

We may suspend or close an account for breaking the platform's rules — with the reason given, and with a way to challenge it.

You can close your account yourself, on the account page. Everything published under it goes too: places, adverts, events, reviews and photographs. This cannot be undone.

Everything you publish stays yours. You grant us a free, non-exclusive licence to show it on the site, to resize and cache it for display, and to use it in the platform's own announcements — for as long as the material is published, plus a reasonable time for caches to clear.

By publishing text and photographs you confirm that you hold the rights to them and that publishing them breaches nobody. Third-party claims about such material rest with the author.

The code, the design, the database and the selection of places itself are ours. The database may not be copied, harvested by automated means, or embedded in other services without written permission.

A place on the map, a property advert and an offer on the board are published on a subscription. The plan decides how many items may be published at once; the prices are on the pricing page.

If a subscription ends or goes unpaid, the placement stops being shown: the place leaves the map and the directory, and its page stops answering. Nothing is deleted — once paid, everything returns along with its reviews and rating.

Only paid placements appear on the map and in the directory. This is not a complete directory of the city, and we say so plainly.

Order is decided by the match with the search and the filters, the distance from the visible part of the map, the rating and how complete the entry is. A position in the list cannot be bought: paid placement buys presence, not rank.

During the pilot the first businesses are placed free of charge — an exchange: filling the map instead of paying for it. It applies to those with whom it was agreed separately.

We promise no enquiries, no calls, no sales, no traffic and no search positions. No figure mentioned in conversation is a guarantee.

We may restrict, suspend or end a placement for breaking the rules, with the reason given. We warn before ending one, except where the material is plainly unlawful. A complaint about such a decision can be sent to the address on the contacts page, and we answer it in writing.

Places and business applications are reviewed by a person before publication. Reviews and events publish straight away and are checked when somebody complains. What may not be published is set out in the house rules.

When we hide or remove material, the author is told why and may challenge the decision.

We do not verify that a review was left by an actual customer. Any registered visitor can write one, and this is said next to the reviews themselves.

Moderation

We are answerable for the platform itself. We are not answerable for the quality of services and goods, for the truth of what a business wrote about itself, or for the content of other people's reviews and adverts.

We host other people's content. Liability for it begins when we learn of unlawful material and fail to take it down — which is why complaints are dealt with quickly, and with a record of when we learned and when we acted.

Towards a paying business our liability is capped at the amount paid for the period in which the cause arose, and loss of profit is excluded.

Nothing in this agreement limits a consumer's rights under the law, or excludes liability for death or personal injury, for intent, or for gross negligence.

We may change these terms. Significant changes are announced in advance — on the site, and by email to anybody with a paid placement. Continuing to use the site once a change takes effect means accepting it; anybody who does not agree may close their account.

The agreement is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. Disputes are heard by the court for the operator's seat, unless the law provides otherwise for consumers.

The document is kept in Slovak; the Russian and English versions are translations for convenience. Where readings differ, the Slovak version governs.

Before going to court, please write to us — most things are settled in correspondence. A consumer may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body; it will be named here.
