Visit counter
The external counter loads only after you press “Accept”, and does not load at all if you declined or did not answer. You can change your mind at any time — the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
Statistics for businesses
A place's owner sees how many people opened their page and how many pressed the phone number, email, website or directions. This is counted without cookies: the address and browser become an irreversible fingerprint that changes every day, so one person cannot be followed from one day to the next. It needs no consent and is unaffected by your answer above.
Requests to other servers
The map and the photographs load from those services' own servers, and they see your IP address — that is how loading any image from the internet works. They set no cookies doing it.
Changing your mind
The “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of any page: the question comes back, and declining is exactly as easy as agreeing.
